CHANGE:

It’s a state of being that I’ve been fascinated by ever since I was a kid.

I love to move; I’ve picked up and packed up 5x in the last 10 years. 📦 I’m the fearless woman who can walk into a salon telling the stylist, do whatever you want and always love the outcome. 💇
Trying new things is always an adventure.

Yet lately, I’ve been in a rut. Too much comfort and stagnation. Too little adventure.

I committed this spring to try new things. And in Kristi-style, that’s taking piano, learning Spanish and jiu jitsu. The first two are in play. The third scares me to death and is WAYYYYY out of my comfort zone. Oh, and add Jeep/camping ⛺️ with my husband and pup (roughing it 😳). The quickest way to change is re-routing stagnant neural pathways and creating new ones. Change is good. And when you see change as the only constant, you’ll always be growing. Into a better, more fulfilled you.

My piano teacher’s peppy-10 year old grandchild was selling me on the class before it started, “You know this will be really good for you. It’s good for your brain - you know that left and right thing. I’m so happy you’re taking it on.” Thanks Jordan, I whole-heartedly agree.
